Bethenny 'Laying Low' After Emotional Season

The season finale of Bethenny Ever After was Monday night – and now Bethenny Frankel says it's time to take it easy.

"I love the show, I'm proud of it," Frankel told PEOPLE at the National Magazine Awards on Monday. "It's been a very emotional, intense season. But we're starting filming in July for season 3, and I need the hiatus."

She recouped with husband Jason Hoppy at the Viceroy Anguilla for two weeks after filming, she said, and since then has been trying to slow down. "I have really checked out of my own life a lot," the reality star, 40, said. "I'm laying low. I really hit the wall going 90 miles an hour."

Frankel celebrated her daughter Bryn Casey's first birthday a day early at Dylan's Candy Bar in New York Saturday with "a big celebration." Then she had a relaxing Mother's Day, which was exactly what she wanted.

Despite rumors that they might be moving to L.A,, Frankel says her family is staying put for now. "It's an ongoing conversation but I have a business opportunity that will keep me in New York, so I don't think that I can move to L.A."

She and Hoppy plan on spending a relaxing summer in New York exploring their neighborhood.

"We've only lived downtown for a year, so we keep finding new pockets," she said. "Jason and I like to walk around, find new restaurants, sit outside, have sangria or SkinnyGirl margaritas. We just like to venture out. New York is such an amazing place so we like to find new little outdoor cafes to hang out."

Ramona Singer: Bethenny Didn't Make $120 Mill

Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer has just released her own wine, but isn't a fan of Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita and doesn't believe for a second that the ex-wife really snagged $120 million for her company.

"Oh no, she likes to exaggerate," Ramona tells Rob Shuter on his HDNet show. "It's rumored, remember? It didn't say fact. Rumored."

Rumored as in the Hollywood Reporter citing insiders that have placed her deal to sell the Skinnygirl coctail line to Beam Global for a cool $120 mil.

"I was thinking before that figure came out she got about $30 million total," Ramona said. "And divided that between her and her partners David, and usually they do a pay out, they don't give you the money up front, they pay you out over time."

Ramona who likes to tell it like it is, says Jill Zarin has changed the most since the show started filming its fourth season on Bravo. "She's become quite full of herself. I'm the same. I'm a little unedited, a little bit of an unfiltered mouth. I don't talk behind your back, I talk about you right to your face."

Bethenny Used Reality TV to Make $120 Million

For a Skinnygirl, Bethenny Frankel has a fat wallet!

The 40-year-old entrepreneur was hesitant to participate in reality TV when Bravo executives approached her in 2007; now, the natural-foods-chef turned mogul tells the Hollywood Reporter it was her screen-time that provided her the platform to launch a $120 million empire.

"I was worried [joining the cast of Real Housewives of New York] would ruin what I had going," says Frankel, who at the time was a Pepperidge Farm spokesperson and appeared on NBC's Today for a cooking segment. "I went on the show single-handedly and exclusively for business… When I went on the show, no one was going on for business, no one had done anything."

Throughout three seasons of Real Housewives, Frankel maximized her screen time and promoted her now-famous Skinnygirl product line. In 2010, she got her own reality show: Bethenny Ever After.

Under her own personal business umbrella, she's launched a successful publishing franchise, a Body by Bethenny workout DVD and her scored one of the most lucrative liquor deals in the industry with her calorie-conscious mixes.

Before her success on reality TV, Frankel's pitches to liquor companies for a low-calorie margarita went unheeded. "Now, every company I pitched this idea to has either tried to buy Skinnygirl or has copied it," she relishes. "I created a sub-category that never existed. I wasn't an expert--I was just another person bothered by a 700-calorie margarita."

Jill Zarin: 'I Needed To Regroup And Re-Center'

It would be an understatement to call the last season of Real Housewives of New York difficult for Jill Zarin.

It was a polarizing season as fans who used to love the duo of Jill and Bethenny Frankel were forced to choose sides as their friendship unraveled on the show. But, Jill says her relationship with the show's fans is on an upswing.

"There's no question that I think a lot of fans who questioned their feelings about me have come back to the nest," Jill tells Zap2it.

"I think because there were a lot of influences last year and that's last year," she adds. "The good thing about TV is people have a short memory and make decisions and such based on what they see in front of them at the time."

Jill has a metaphor for the relationship she has with her cast mates, which she says resembles summer camp.

"I sort of visualize the show like the seven of us are in a bunk," She explains. "And some of them will be your best friends. Some of them you'll like a lot. And some of them it will be harder to get along with."

"We're all in the same bunk," she continues. "So you do the best you can to try to get along with everybody all the time and it doesn't always work, but you try. And I think that's different between this year and last year is that I believe everybody on the cast tries to get along. It doesn't always work, but tries."

This season, she says she came back to show "the real Jill" after being encouraged by her family, friends, and fans, and after taking a couple much-needed breaks from the public eye.

"I spent a lot of time with my family and decided to come back to the show because I didn't want to leave on a down note," she says. "I needed to regroup and re-center."

Bethenny Could've Gone Forever Without Sex

Bethenny Frankel is really good at being very frank — even when it comes to talking about sex with her husband post-baby!

We wonder how Bethenny’s husband, Jason Hoppy, feels about this interview?

The Bravo star opened up to Redbook about what sex was like for her after giving birth to her daughter, Bryn.

“It was like sticking my foot in a pool of cold water,” Bethenny tells Redbook. “I could have gone on forever not having sex. It wasn’t a personal thing toward my husband — I think Jason’s the sexiest man alive. But it was kind of nice to be like, ‘Nope, store’s closed.’ ”

Bethenny gave birth to her daughter via C-section, but still said it was painful to have sex after.

“It doesn’t matter where the baby comes out; they still cut stuff,” she says. “It was kind of like being a virgin. We had to tread lightly.”

But Bethenny works hard with her husband to set the mood.

“If it’s date night, I’m putting on lingerie and we’re having sex,” Bethenny says. “If it’s the weekend and our schedules aren’t crazy, we’re having sex. But the fact that I’m even using the term ‘date night’ shows how different things are now.”

And they may still try for baby number-two!

“We throw caution to the wind and use the withdrawal method now,” she says. “If we got pregnant again, we’d be happy.”

Bethenny Frankel Reveals Struggle W/ Implants

Bethenny Frankel is one of several celebrities who have gone the complete cycle with breast implants. She got hers in 2005 and had them extracted a few years later, she confesses in a new issue of Life & Style magazine.

Frankel says she was moved to get implants because she thought her ample 34C’s were “too saggy.” She also admits she felt insecure about her body.

The remedy came down to a breast lift or implants, both with obvious downsides, a Florida plastic surgeon advised her.

“He told me there would be big lollipop scars if I got a lift. Being single at the time, I wasn’t comfortable with that idea.

“He told me he could instead put in a small implant that would give me a lift – not as much as a real lift would but at least a little bit of a lift. So I did it.”

The implants, however, didn’t give her the looks she wanted.

“They were still saggy – only now they were bigger! They were saggy and gigantic. I was so uncomfortable. I don’t think your breasts should be the first thing people notice when you enter a room.”

She decided to have the implants removed and as part of the process she got a lift. The scarring proved to be less noticeable than she originally feared.

“The truth is that I just don’t care very much. I’m married now, and it’s not like I’m going to be pulling my top down in St. Tropez at 40 years old!”

Bethenny Frankel is Switching To Silk Soy

Bethenny Frankel is ripping it up as a reality TV star and an entrepreneur, seen recently grabbing her Silk Soy, Almond and Coconut milk products in a store in her Tribeca neighborhood.

She is making the switch from milk to Silk as part of the brand’s 10-day Challenge. Last week she even urged her followers to take the challenge via twitter - “Take the #SwitchtoSilk challenge with me! @LoveMySilk is healthier and tastes amazing.”

Frankel is dairy free, and she loves her knew Skinny Girl Margarita line too.

The former star of Bravo's Real Housewives Of New York has unleashed a unique tequila product. Donning a hairnet, goggles and a florescent jacket, Frankel told her TV show viewers she was 'shocked' and experienced a 'sensory overload' which took her breath away.

Bethenny Frankel Has “Money Noise”

Despite the wealth she’s acquired, Bethenny Frankel can’t shake that frugal feeling.

“Money changed things for me because I was always so nervous about not being able to pay my rent and striving to pay my rent,” the reality star, 40, tells me. “Once I had some money, I didn’t know how to stop striving and being worried about money.”

She continues, “Like food noise, I have money noise. I don’t know what it means to be able to afford things, so I’m frugal. I’m not someone who can go out and buy something retail – or spend freely – because I have anxiety about knowing how many years I couldn’t pay my rent, and how many years I was way negative in my tax return and losing money.”

The married mom admits she shopped for shoes today at Kohl’s, and regularly shops on eBay, Bluefly and Shopbop.

“I’m an online shopper exclusively, and I buy everything at discount,” she says. “ 99.9% of things that I wear on the show are something I got on sale. I don’t walk into department stores and pay full price for things. I just don’t.”

Still, she splurges where it counts and doesn’t put a limit on how much she’s willing to spend.

“If I absolutely love something, I’ll j buy it. I like diamonds, jewelry and watches. Those are my little luxury areas. Even shoes, I have expensive shoes, but they’re all on sale or somehow I found them at a discount.”

Now that she’s a mom to daughter Bryn, 11 months, whose dad is hubby Jason Hoppy, she hopes to use her monetary blessings to do good for the children of the world.

“I’ve donated to charity over the years, but now that I have money I would like to get more involved and aligned with specific charities – for babies, to help unprivileged babies. If I would like to find a place to spend my money, it would be more charities because I’ve been haphazard about it. If someone asks, if I go to a charity event, I’ll donate. I’ll donate my services, or I donate clothes and end up doing eBay charities. I pick charity a month, but it’s all over the place. I’d like to be more focused on a charity.”

Bethenny Frankel Gets Her Own Talk Show

In February, Bethenny Frankel told the press that she wanted her own talk show. Now, RumorFix is reporting exclusively that her dream is coming true.

Our staff has learned the star of Bethenny Ever After has just signed a deal with Telepictures, which is the production company behind The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Tyra, Lopez Tonight and Anderson.

Bethenny gained fame as one of the Real Housewives of New York, and quickly became a media darling by starring in her own spinoff TV show, Celebrity Apprentice and Skating with the Stars.

Bethenny's show is currently in development; two months ago, the reality star told Popeater why she wanted a talk show:

"I would like a daytime talk show because my conversation with my fans right now is through social networking, and my TV show communicates what I'm doing, but it isn't really a dialogue or a conversation."

And then she said something very prophetic, "Most of my business wishes come true."

Wendy Williams' Anniversary Gift to Bethenny

What do you get a woman who already has several successful TV shows, a bestselling book and her own fitness business? Well, if that woman is Bethenny Frankel, you could order that guest a basket of toilet paper...with her face on it...and present it on the air.

That's precisely what gregarious host (and Dancing With the Stars contestant) Wendy Williams did on the Wendy Williams Show set this week.

In the tradition of anniversary gifts, year one is "Paper," after all. The customized T.P. was a gift for Frankel's one-year anniversary with her husband, Jason Hoppy. Each roll featured a photo of the happy couple, framed by a heart.

Frankel's spontaneous response had to be bleeped, but it's clear the Real Housewives breakout star has a quick sense of humor, as she immediately cracked up at the idea of utilizing the hilarious gift.

Bethenny Ever After Renewed for Third Season

That was fast: Barely a month after season two of Bethenny Ever After bowed on Bravo, the network is readying another cycle of the series starring Bethenny Frankel.

Vulture has learned a season-three pickup will be announced later today, just in time for the network's upfront presentations to advertisers in New York, Chicago, and L.A.

This makes sense given that the Monday-night series has averaged a healthy 1.4 million viewers since returning February 28 and continues to do well with Bravo's key demo of rich folks under 50 (we're not kidding about the rich part, either; the network even has a name for its target — "affluencers").

No word yet on when season three will air, but the timing of the renewal couldn't be better for Frankel and hubby Jason Hoppy: The duo celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary Monday, an event she told Access Hollywood would be "an all-out sexfest." Awww! How sweet!
